Explore the northern part of the island within one day thanks to our Ocean Safari. You will be picked up in Stone Town and driven to Matemwe for your first exploration of the Indian Ocean. Hopping on a boat, you will sail towards Mnemba Island over the waters getting more and more transparent. You don’t even need to swim to see the corals and fishes by the shore of the island but swimming in these waters will definitely add something to your experience! After swimming and starting to get hungry, you will sail back to Matemwe and enjoy a tasty seafood buffet.
We will then head to Nungwi for the next part of your adventure and visit a natural aquarium, which is a small tidal lake surrounded by the porous coral rag stone that is home to dozens of endangered hawksbill and green turtles. You will be able to observe and swim with the marine turtles.
Then some time will be dedicated to relaxing before hopping on a traditional dhow for a sunset cruise. You and your crew will enjoy a two hour nearshore cruise that is the perfect way to end the day.
