Embarking from Stone Town on a typical African wooden boat with sails and motor, you will visit Prison Island – a name reminding us of the old slave prisons. Here you can walk, swim in the clear waters and sunbathing. The island is also home to beautiful centenarian tortoises that live and reproduce in this tiny natural reserve.
